William Glenn Elmore Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2022, at the age of 81, William Glenn Elmore Jr. (Gastonia, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Glenn (Jack) and Virginia Elmore (Jinks); his brother Mike Elmore; and his daughter Gaye Elmore Joyce. He is survived by : his wife Gayle Dilling Elmore; his daughters, Amy Elmore Parks (Tony) of Kings Mountain, Molly Elmore Lloyd of Bluffton, SC and Emily Elmore Wilson (Bryan) of Charlotte; his siblings, Lynn Elmore Teague of Myrtle Beach, SC and Scott Elmore (Linda) of Bluffton, SC; his grandchildren, Katherine Doctor (Landon), Claire Hutchins, William Parks, Jack Lloyd, Virginia Lloyd, Cameron Joyce, Ethan Joyce (Erin), Levi Joyce, Mason Joyce (Maddy), Sarah Wilson and Jason Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Annabelle Doctor, Olivia Doctor, Ayden Joyce and Banner Joyce.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 3rd 2022 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (190 E Franklin Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28052). Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3rd 2022 at 11:45 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Gastonia, Weaving Campaign, and Salvation Army at P.O. Box 1094, Gastonia, NC 28053.
