Obituary

ORANGE PARK, Fla. - Betty F. Rosebro, 71, passed away June 12, 2013. She was born to Stahlee Funderburk and Era Linker Funderburk on Dec. 29, 1941, in Kannapolis. Mrs. Rosebro retired from the Clay County School Board following her 22 year teaching career. She was an avid reader and she loved flamingos but above all, she was a devoted grandmother and she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. She and her husband, Coke Rosebro, re-cently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in January.

Mrs. Rosebro was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Chet Rosebro. She is survived by her loving husband, Coke Rosebro; her daughter, Lindsey R. Geiger (Bert); 2 grandsons, Justin Reese Geiger (Kimberly) and Christopher Lee Geiger; and 1 sister, Nancy Hammer (Steve).

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013, in the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at the funeral home.
