Brenda Barker

Brenda Barker Davis, 78, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2019 while surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 3, 1941, a native of Gaston County, preceded in death by her parents, Paul James Barker and Pauline Price Barker and son, the late Brian Keith Davis.
Brenda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 56 years. She retired from Homelite. She enjoyed attending all her children and grandchildren’s events. She enjoyed her crafts, word search puzzles and reading her bible.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Bill Davis Sr.; sons, Billy Davis Jr. and Bobby Davis (Jackie); daughter, Belinda Bogle (Ed); brothers, James Barker, and Jerry Barker (Debbie); sister, Robin Stowe (Steve); grandchildren, Weslee, Timothy, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Carson, Dylan, Erin, Sean James, Franklin, Ben and Henry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 31, 2019 12:30 – 2:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Josh Glandon, will follow at 2:00 pm at the church.
Entombment will be in Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum.
