Well, it's slowly coming back to me now....but More…there were none...and I am unanimous in this.
Military Service: Army, Pvt. E-1
Memories Before High School (neighborhood, elementary & jr high, etc.):

Myrtle Elementary school, Central Elementary School, Wray Middle School, Grier Jr. High School
St. Michaels Catholic School, first grade.

Mrs Wood in third or second grade at Myrtle.

Wray Jr High, Buying Twin Banana popsicles for girls if (?) They could catch me on play field...seems I recall Betty Smith, ..

Mrs McCloud (?) for fifth grade at Central.
.Mrs Foote's class on second floor of Methodist Church satellite class of Central Middle School....Principal Howard (?)
Dick Jarman, Bill Rhyne(?) was in that class too.

We used to roller skate during recess.

Special School Memories:

Serving on Spinner Yearbook selling advertisements
Played clarinet in Ashley band, and we had some well appreciated concerts- especially at Christmas.

Oh, but do you recall, Durham School of Dancing?
The assistant instructor was Ms Kitchin ( or Kitchen).
WoW...what culture we were exposed to....And along came the "Shag"... The Viennese Waltz was a favorite. ....Kay Herring, Jenny Schneider, Nancy McClunney, Christine & Bonnie Norris, Rosalind Ratchford; Bobby Tatlock was the star male student, Jim Bumgardner, Sonny Rawlings, RB Jenkins, Dick Jarman, Bill Rhyne, George Clemmer, Ross Roberts, and so many more... Seems like everyone was there....

The boys I don't think were too keen on it at first?
My Mom made me attend, the first night I was almost in tears.

But then I got to dance with all the girls in school that ignored me!
Wasn't life grand back then?

No one enjoyed the waltz more than Jill Littlefield and I.

Since School...:

Travelled and worked throughout New Zealand for a company related to Wix Corporation in Gastonia, and Australia- Rockdale-Botany Bay, near Sydney.
Coming back to USA was big disappointment. Still maintain several friends in New Zealand. Just call me linkman for New Zealand websites.
Visited Brisbane and Koala park there.
Traveled all over Europe and London. Especially enjoyed ruins of Pompeii.

Been envolved with the Mummers of Philadelphia
as in Stringbands.
Member of Durning String Band, Bellmawr, NJ

I deserted from the "War on Poverty".... couldn't find the front battle lines...so to speak.

I want to meet the Pope ...
and ask him:
"Just what makes you think your religion is any better than anyone else's?"

So far I have my voting choices covered:...
"Must be a flaw in my breeding!"

No one ever argues about that... Yet'

I read on Facebook that using the word
"Yet" makes one sound more intelligent.(?)

Seems to be working .... but it's hard to tell from a distance..

Happy Birthday...

To say we have made a difference in anyone's life or civilization is as good as it gets.

You have much for which to be appreciated.

Learning never ends... watching is best teacher.... Bugs Bunny, Froghorn, Tweety & Sylvester....all were my mentors; but Brer' Rabbit on Uncle Remus Tales was my favorite.

That's why I like "Thinking Water" by
Jacque Daniel's.

If you need to get rid of yellow Jackets nest in ground, just hang piece of watermelon rhine after eating red part, on clothes line over big tub of water and watch as they eat so much they can't fly and fall in tub and drown .

Our subtle decisions are most important....
Such as job choice, so glad I took that excavator class at age 64 was free!

Played Tonka toy for 13 weeks.

Then there was
"The Nature of Things"
James Burke

The most useful quote:

"In the absence of truth things become what others want them to be."

Example: Church locking Galeleo for saying world. was round!

Enjoy share with your world.

often less is more, as here.

Hope this Birthday is more meaningful than last, but less than your next.

"Well does it really work?"

Yes, it Does !

Well can you get it "over the counter"?

Yes, if I take two !

Happy Birthday...
Dress rehearsal for our next reunion as I envision it...

"Laura's Theme"

And Dwight Yoakam reminds us how good we had it growing up and getting older.
Never fret about old folks,, Chuck Berry

Happy Birthday...
Nice to see you have an occupation that you can enjoy and become more valued just the cars we grew up/not old, with.

Seem about 1957 was the year Detroit began the swell of producing fascinating "Automobiles"

And later the music confirmed our good taste/vision in the Sunday afternoon "Drive"... we call it Road Trip now.

Who can't praise Dwight Yoakam...

Humor is about how you express it...
