Sandy was such a joyous, loving friend, person, and woman. I stayed in touch with her for many years and even though her life was hard, her health poor, her heart was always open to all around her. She touch me like few have in my life. Her honesty, charm, and wit were always there to console, cheer, or make life better for anyone who knew her. She is sorely missed, especially at the reunions, when I can almost see her smiling and laughing again.
