Judith Fran Meredith

March 6, 1941 to Feb. 12, 2017

Judith Fran Meredith, 75, of Gastonia, NC stepped into eternal peace on Sunday, February 12, 2017 after a period of declining health.  Born on March 6, 1941 in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Arlon and Velma Forrester.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Wanda Cox, Pat Loudermilk, and Von Forrester.

Mrs. Meredith is survived by two sons, Kenneth Meredith of the home and Brant Meredith and wife, April, of Drexel, NC; 5 grandchildren, Brittney Meredith of Drexel, Stephen Meredith and wife, Melody, of Drexel, Christine McKinney and husband, Josh, of Drexel, Tyler Bledsoe of Morganton, and Brooklyn Bledsoe of Morganton; a great-granddaughter, Aubrey; a brother, Darriel Forrester and wife, Linda, of York, SC; nieces, Belinda Clinton and husband, Joey, of Cramerton, NC (who cared for Judith in her illness), Jimie-Lynn England and husband, Scottie, Darlene George and husband, Timmy, and Vickie Fields and husband, Ronnie.

A private family service will be held for Judith.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929 or to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
