Cause of death - plane crash in wooded area near Cherry Point Marine Air Station. Terry did not survive the crash. Was in the navy stationed at Oceana Naval Air Station near Virginia Beach, VA.
I knew Terry had passed away early on, maybe the first in our class, but did not know the cause. We were in the same home room and you would never meet a nicer person. This is still very sad news. I'm glad I knew Terry.
Terry and I happened to meet while on a Mediterranean Cruise aboard the aircraft carrier USS Forestal in the spring of 1969. I had not heard about the crash before just now. He was a nice guy.
