Special School Memories:

Meeting and making new friends; particicated in the production "Down by the Sea" with many classmates. Buddy Collins was my partner, and we were dressed in old-fashioned swimsuits. Teachers - Mr. Jarvis and Mrs. Taylor, most valuable English teachers. I had a great fear of each, but I passed English

Married classmate Lanny Barnes; employed by Southern Bell 6/60; held several different managerial positions over 30-yr. period; retired as Staff Manager supporting 9 states; volunteered Gaston Memorial Hospital Auxiliary; served as 1st VP and President of the Auxiliary; assisted in planning, scheduling, co-ordinating senior activities of First Assembly of God; also sang with the choir for about 12 yrs.; been with Eastridge Family Medicine as Patient Acct. Rep 12 yrs.
