I got to know Walt when we were at Victory School. I was fortunate to be one of the guys chosen to help Walt around school with his wheel chair! I enjoyed doing this because Walt always had good things to say and had a great sense of humor. It was a humbling experience to be with him. I lost track of Walt after High School, but was glad to see him at our reunions and was proud of him for his success in business. He was a great friend and will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him!

I met Walter in High School, but I really got to know him at UNC. Many wild & crazy times & tales that he was an integral part of. Will miss him at the reunion.
